On the surface this set is fairly simple. We have the mirror of erised complete with picture of Harry holding the sorcerer’s stone. . . a spider on a web (a lot of sets have this, I don’t know why) and the ability to connect to the main castle set (which looks very small with all the additions like this set or snape’s labe, etc. ). The Harry minifig is nothing new, but with Quirrel you get a few bonuses. First of all, he’s adorable with his removable purple turban, but wait, when you look at the back of his head the you have the slitted nose and narrowed eyes of Lord Vol. . . you know who! I count this among one of the must have Harry Potter sets (and I have all of them) because it is the only one where you can get quirrel or the dark lord (at the moment). This set may be small but its durable (like all legos) and works great alone or in connection with the castle. Legos are always educational so of course that aspect gets 5 stars — they’re one toy you can play with over and over again and even though this set is highly specific you’d be surprised how it sparks the imagination.

From the viewpoint of a Lego collector, this is a very basic set, and quite small in size. From a child’s perspective, I’m sure entire worlds are just waiting to be explorered here though. =)It has nice features, including a “mirror” that shows Potter both with and without the Sorceror’s stone in his hands, just like in the novels (this is a sticker that changes between the views depending on the angle of which you look at it). The Quirrel figure is very nice – featuring Voldemort’s face on his backside (very authentic feature, and quite nice). As a cost-to-features rating, though, I felt the set was just slightly overpriced due to it’s limited scope and size.

This is the best Small Harry Potter set. It comes with Professer Quirell/voldemort and Harry Potter. It also has the sorcerers stone and the Mirror of Erised.

The Final Challenge is so cool. On the back of Quaill’s head is Voldemort’s face. I liked the mirror in the tower. This set is not borring!

I think this is a great set. Since, this is the only set Prof. Quirrell comes with, it is a must for a HARRY POTTER fan. It was worth the wait, and hope they do not sell out again so the rest of you avid fans can order it also. I like this set as it has Quirrell and “You-Know-Who” on the back of his head! HURRY JUST DON’T SIT THERE READING THIS ORDER IT NOW!!
